on saturday night at around 22.35 i was looking at the sky when i noticed a large orange glow in front of me,it got bigger for a few minutes then slowly started to get smaller, i knew then i had seen a meteor for the first time in my life ,,wow,, it was 18,th of july 2009 standing at canons park tube station london,i was looking in the north/east at the sky when it happened.

On saturday/sunday morning of 18th/19th July at 00.04am, we witnessed a bright green tail moving through the sky from left to right diagonally. it lasted about 4 seconds. We viewed this looking south west from Lewes in Sussex.
