Meteors from Last Week (Mar 30/31 to Apr 5/6)

It has been awhile since our last posting of meteor observations. This post catches us up.

The weather has been OK in Tucson. Every night has been partially clear though cirrus is still a problem from time to time. Rates remain low which is normal for this time of the year. Also the bright Moon isn’t helping. Rates should stay low until around April 20th when the Lyrids ramp up.

From Bob’s notes for the past 2 nights: “It’s been clear the past two mornings. An unusually large number of Antihelion meteors were captured on the 6th.”
