The meteors just keep coming. Two nights ago the Tucson camera had with record-breaking night with 40 meteors detected. That record only lasted a single night. Last night produced 70 meteors of which just over half were Orionids. Rates should stay at this level and perhaps even increase over the next night or two.
Bob’s system which can detect meteors many times fainter than the Tucson system was, unfortunately, plagued by clouds. The clouds got so bad that there were no detections during the prime meteor watching hours right before dawn.
