Oct 12/13/14 Meteors

Last night was nice and clear and produced 48 video meteors. Though we are still a week from the maximum of the Orionids, they are producing ~20%  (9 of 48) of the detectable meteors.

Since the last meteor summary, an additional shower has become active. For more on this showers (the Sigma Arietids), see Bob Lunsford’s Meteor Activity Outlook for this week.
