The series of storms which brought clouds, rain and snow to the southwest US has finally moved out. For all of the clouds, Tucson received very little rain (only ~0.05″). Last night was the clearest night in over a week, though fog kept the number of detected meteors low.
A week ago, there were a number of active showers including the Geminids, Sigma Hydrids, Puppids/Velids and the Monocerotids. All of these showers are no longer active. In their place, we now have the Coma Berenicids and the Ursids.
