Last night was another nice night with a good number of meteors. Four of the meteors may be members of the Delta Aurigid shower.

0620, 6:20 am, Eastern time, 9/25/08, I saw from the North East sky heading North West, what appeared to be a fast-moving plane leaving a thin white streak trailing. Then the tip got wider and turned yellow and was descending into a fireball of orange in the sky before it fizzeled out directly above me. This happened in Wapakoneta, Ohio and I have a co-worker from St. Marys, Ohio that saw it too.
The coolest thing I’ve seen in a while!!!
Linda,
Thanks for the report. It definitely sounds like it was a cool looking meteor.
